At Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, we strive to fulfill the Great Commission, which calls us to "go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20, NASB) We seek to fulfill this commission from our Lord and Savior through active involvement in our Hands of Hope Mission Trip to West Virginia in July and through our many Missions Offerings throughout the year. Missions Giving Opportunities
We have many offerings throughout the year to allow our members to support various mission endeavors financially.
These include:

- An offering to support local students pursuing education for ministry
- Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
- An offering for missions within North America
- Baptist Children's Village Mother's Day Offering
- An offering for to support our Baptist Children's Villages around the state of Mississippi
- Vacation Bible School Offering
- An offering during Vacation Bible School to support our Hands of Hope Mission Trip to West Virginia
- Baby Bottle Boomerang Father's Day Offering
- An offering to support the Crisis Pregnancy Center in McComb, Mississippi
- Margaret Lackey State Missions Offering
- An offering for missions within the state of Mississippi
- World Hunger Day
- Rice bowl offering to fight world hunger
- Operation Christmas Child
- An offering to purchase items for shoeboxes to be sent as Christmas presents to children in poverty stricken countries around the world.

Seek, Find, Serve
When we say “SEEK, FIND, SERVE” we mean that we are called to do this very thing all over the world. We take missions very seriously and understand that missions begin at home and lead us all to the uttermost parts.
At PHBC, we have active mission opportunities right here in the community with our Giveaways twice a year, Spring and Fall. Our giveaways are simple, we set up a huge garage sale, then open our doors and give it all away. Through this, we are hoping to not only provide a physical need but also have the privilege to share the hope and love of Jesus.
We have been blessed over the last few years in also being active through working alongside church plants in other states.
Christ Fellowship, Knoxville, TN, is one of our ministry partners that we have the pleasure of serving as we assist in getting them ready to host VBS.
Church at Mischoud, Mischoud, LA, is a church that we have had the pleasure of partnering with and helping them out with providing backpacks to neighborhood children for their backpack ministry.
King’s Church, Phoenix, AZ, is a ministry partner that we have the privilege of praying for, while also providing monetary gifts for their needs.
Finally, we have been blessed with sending two teams to Uganda, Africa, with IMB missionaries over the last few years. Uganda is filled with people who are just like anyone else: they desperately need the Gospel!
