At Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, we strive to fulfill the Great Commission which calls us to "go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20, NASB) We seek to fulfill this commission from our Lord and Savior through active involvement in our Hands of Hope Mission Trip to West Virigina in July and through our many Missions Offerings throughout the year. HANDS OF HOPE MISSION TRIP
Our annual Hands of Hope Mission Trip is a ministry in which we travel to McDowell County, West Virginia to assist Hands of Hope Ministries share the hope of Jesus Christ. We have been serving in this ministry and making trips for over 10 years.
Hands of Hope (HOH) is about spreading the love and hope found in Jesus Christ by helping the people in this troubled area. The poverty in this area is devastating. The people are suffering. There are homes without heat, running water, or electricity. There are children going hungry who have little hope for the future.
